Reflections on a Quiet Night

Bright moonlight shines before my bed,
like frost gleaming on the ground.
Raising my head, I gaze at the bright moon.
Lowering my head, I long for my hometown.

Li Bai was one of the most famous poets of the Tang Dynasty in China, and was widely admired by other poets in antiquity just as he is now. Enjoy!
